Sony’s next-gen console has proved enormously popular since launching in November last year and subsequent restocks have all flown off the shelves. To compound matters for frustrated gamers, restocks have been sporadic at the majority of retailers.

Several outlets, however, have reported the PS5 could be back in stock at different retailers as early as this week, following up on the latest restock at Newegg.

Antonline PS5 Restock

PS Direct PS5 Restock

Both versions of the console are unavailable at PS Direct. Unlike other retailers, PS Direct uses a lottery-like system, where slots to buy the consoles are randomly assigned to users in a virtual queue.

To be alerted when the queue opens again, gamers should follow dedicated Twitter gaming accounts such as @Wario64, who alerted gamers about the drop last week.

It is worth noting, however, that there is a limit of one console per address on PSN.
