For example, KRAFTON is always teaming up with other developers to bring players amazing crossovers like that of Black Lagoon or Spider-Man. But, one of PUBG’s latest updates introduced players to a new map (Taego) and with it dozens of secret rooms packed with unique loot. But, as players can expect, finding a secret room will be a little more challenging, especially if they’re not sure where to look.

Taego Secret Room Keys

In order to open the secret room, players must locate hidden keys similar to Call of Duty Warzone’s Red Access Keycards. And unfortunately, these keys are random loot, which means players will need to depend on PUBG’s RNG to find one. So, players aiming to unlock Taego Secret Rooms will want to land on areas that have plenty of ground loot.

But, some players have found decent results in looting certain areas of the map like the Airport or Oh Hyang. Thankfully, Taego is a small map, not like KRAFTON’s rumored planet-sized game, which would make finding the key a lot more challenging. Moreover, players should always loot enemy players since they may be carrying the key.

Taego Secret Room Locations

After a player locates the key, the next step is to go to one of 12 Taego Secret Room spawn locations scattered across the map. And the good news is that these secret rooms always spawn, so players don’t need to pray to the RNG gods (unless the player is playing the limited-time event Zombie Survival since Taego Secret Doors are completely RNG in that game mode).

Here are the possible locations:

Small Compound North of Wol Song Ruined Buildings South of the Army Base Small Town South-East of the Army Base On a Little Island South of Hae Moo Sa At a Farm South of Ha Po Scattered Buildings South-East of Ho Sa Prison At a Small Shack North-West of Buk San Sa Small Village North-West of the Studio Complex Ruined Buildings South-East of the Studio Complex Building located North-East of Oh Hyang Near a Barn South of the Airport At an Abandoned Building South-East of the Shipyard

Players will quickly notice the Taego Secret Room since it’ll have a beautiful Minhwa (ancient Korean folk art) mural of a crane and waterfall. But, players should be extra cautious while searching the area for the secret room since it’s not uncommon for other players to camp these doors. And with the shading issues currently present in PUBG, enemy players can easily blend in with the environment, killing the player before they open the door. Hopefully, KRAFTON’s unannounced UE5 AAA Project will address these issues and more.

Taego Secret Rooms Loot

As most veteran Battle Royale players know, the only way a player can win a match is by being the last player standing on the field (which isn’t always easy, especially if they play PUBG: New State without knowing the gameplay mechanics). But, of course, that means they’ll have to fight and outlast other players, which means the player with the better loot will have a significant advantage over others.

And that’s why new and seasoned players do well in finding Taego Secret Rooms since they have guaranteed high-tier loot, care package items, self-AEDs, scopes, healing, and throwable items inside them. And these items will immensely increase a player’s chances (even more if they know tips and tricks of the game) of becoming the Winner Winner Chicken Dinner of the match.

But, as already mentioned, players should not remain in the secret room for too long as other players will become aware that someone opened the secret room. And, being stuck in a secret room will only end up in death since there is no cover and only one way to get out.

PUBG: Battlegrounds is available now on Mobile (Android & Apple), PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One.
